1. Pre-Deployment Preparation

✅ Confirm vehicle availability and readiness
✅ Conduct mechanical inspections (engine, brakes, tires, lights, fluids)
✅ Verify fuel levels and refuel if necessary
✅ Ensure vehicles are equipped with emergency equipment (first aid, fire extinguishers, etc.)
✅ Test onboard communication systems (mobile devices)
✅ Assign vehicle identification numbers and ensure correct vehicle markings
✅ Confirm insurance and registration documentation is up to date

2. Managers Assignment & Briefing

✅ Assign drivers and patrolling personnel for each vehicle
✅ Verify driving licenses and security clearances of assigned personnel
✅ Conduct briefing on patrolling routes, schedules, and operational protocols
✅ Issue patrol checklists, incident report templates, and logbooks
✅ Review emergency response procedures and escalation protocols

3. Route Planning & Navigation

✅ Define patrolling routes, waypoints, and designated stops
✅ Test and verify Viridian tracking functionality on all vehicles
✅ Share patrolling routes with control centre for monitoring
✅ Identify high-risk areas and define specific monitoring requirements

4. Security & Operational Equipment Check

✅ Verify access control devices (RFID scanners, biometric readers, keypads)
✅ Equip each vehicle with required security tools (torches, batons, PPE)
✅ Confirm all vehicles have backup power sources for electronics

5. SOC Deployment Execution & Monitoring

✅ Conduct final pre-shift checks before dispatch
✅ Log vehicle departure times and patrolling routes in the system
✅ Monitor patrols through command/control centre for adherence to routes
✅ Perform periodic radio check-ins with patrolling teams

6. Post-Deployment Review & Maintenance

✅ Conduct end-of-shift vehicle inspections for any damage or issues
✅ Log mileage and fuel usage for each vehicle
✅ Review patrol reports and log any incidents for further investigation
✅ Schedule vehicle servicing and maintenance as needed
✅ Conduct debrief with patrolling personnel for feedback and improvement
